This is not an attention whoring thread.
Nor a deskderp thread.
Nor a battlestation thread.
Nor a specs thread.
Nor an OS vs OS thread.
Nor a computer support thread.
And it's certainly not a thread which came to existence only because of being there.

This is a thread about some one who is trying to learn about technology. About someone who is willing to spend time in enriching his knowledge for the sake of becoming more knowledgeable. This is a thread started by some one who is actually IS willing to learn about that which can only be classified as technology, instead of casually showing off wankery which is only loosely related to technology.
These kinds of threads are here, not for faggotry, but for information. These kinds of threads should only be encouraged and sought after, these threads become the crowdsourced resources which many of us long for.
